We would love to celebrate the birth of your child and welcome you and your family into the church family by baptising or christening your child regardless of whether you are a regular churchgoer or not. We believe that God welcomes all children and baptism is an important step in deciding that you want your child to belong to the family of God. Baptism is not just for children, and you are never too old or too young to be baptised, so if you are thinking about being baptised, please get in touch.
Baptisms can take place on Sundays in one of the regular morning services, or at a stand-alone baptism service on any day of the week.
Your first step is to contact the vicar Revd Ilse Ferwerda, email apperleypriest@gmail.com, telephone 01452 780880. She will send you a form to complete, and together with you will decide on a suitable date for the baptism. She will then arrange to meet with you in person or on zoom to answer any questions and discuss what will happen at the baptism service.
